Champions League 1st Qualifying Round Result
The Reds will next face Lithuanian champions FBK Kaunas, who beat Faroe Island's FB Torshavn's 8-2 on aggregate. Simliar to the 1st-leg, TNS played a superb match keeping the Champions at bay for most of the match. Cisse scored Liverpool's first goal after 26 minutes to ease any fears of an upset. Liverpool will play the 1st-leg in the 2nd qualifying round away on 26/07, before returing home for the 2nd-leg on 02/08.
