The clash of titans ended up more like a clash of Man Utd (plus the FA) versus a dazed Blues team. If you are in doubt about the EPL (and almost all European leagues where millions are at stake ever weekend) being rigged, all you had to do was watch Man Utd versus Chelsea. Even a 22-man Chelsea team could not beat Man Utd yesterday. It was 11 Red Devils, plus one clown in black, plus the FA, putting on a show on the field of dreams! And this from a Reds fan! How much longer before the EPL is subjected to an investigation that brings down some big names (aka what happened in Italy)? It is getting more and more obvious as every week passes.

We are back after a brief interruption following the PK decision at Anfield! Now it is hard to show that the game is clean and that the millions of pounds at stake do not affect how calls are made, and what results are recorded. Football in Europe is on life-support. Just look at the Liverpool-Chelsea game, and the United-Spurs game and you should get a fair idea. The English pride themselves in being people of law. However, watching the EPL unfold in its first couple of weeks shows otherwise. It's going on in Italy, it's going on in Spain, and it DOES happen in England too, whether you like it or not! Penalty at Anfield? That is just wrong. It is sickening!
On another note, the EPLPI went 5-5 in week 2 including one score on-target, followed by going 4-6 with one score on-target in week 3. The EPLPI goes to 15-22 for the season, with 4 scores on-target.
